Haus der Geschichte Baden Württemberg

For the 10th anniversary the House of History Baden-Wuerttemberg, thanks to a generous donation from the company's own development association, granted itself some innovation.

As the first museum in the southwest of Germany the museum operates with our media guide that provides extensive additional information in digital form.

The used devices with a 12.5 cm diagonal screen allow rendering of high-resolution images and video material. A special feature is the Wi-Fi-based navigation in the interior, a solution we realized together with the Fraunhofer Institute ISS. Using this intelligent technology, visitors can precisely detect their positions in the exhibition spaces and then receive aligned offered information.

The media guide is a milestone in the development of mobile multimedia information. The multimedia guide communicates information presented in different media including attractive pictures, informative audio and video features, radio play sequences and original sound clips.

Visitors hear a love song to the state capital Baden-Württemberg, sung by Max Herre and Joy Denalane, as they leave the exhibition.

The House of History is a state museum and shows the history of southwest Germany from Napoleanis times to the present.
