Together with the Wilhelm Wagenfeld Foundation, the Design Zentrum Bremen conceived the exhibition "No miracles!"
What exactly makes Bionade, IKEA, Loewe, Apple or the Süddeutsche Zeitung so successful? Is there a formula for success? Companies were presented that have consistently orientated their business activities towards the customer by involving the creative industries, i.e. design, advertising, PR, media, photography, film and architecture, at an early stage. Despite all the differences in their strategies, the companies have one thing in common - success. The exhibition ran from October 2006 to April 2007.

Task
The exhibition presented us with a twofold task: our product xpedeo, which was nominated for the German Multimedia Award in 2006, was to inform visitors and at the same time provide evidence of the exhibition's thesis as an innovative product: A new quality of information is finding its way into museums and exhibitions thanks to its ease of use, design and sustainability.
Realisation
We were able to utilise xpedeo's flexible modular design for the implementation. We realised a user interface with just two navigation buttons - it couldn't be simpler. Special treats were interviews with the makers of the successful products, TV adverts and other media that explained the entrepreneurial processes behind the successes. All content could be entered by museum staff via our additor editorial system and updated at any time. A website for the exhibition also gave Bremen entrepreneurs the opportunity to present themselves and their products and become part of the exhibition.
Customer judgement
"The challenge with the exhibition is to convey content as memorably, quickly and focussed on the visitor's interests as possible. Above all, topicality must be guaranteed for long running times, which was previously not possible with conventional means. Xpedeo offers several advantages here: Firstly, the exhibits on display can be supplemented with multimedia content, making it possible to personalise the exhibition visit. Secondly, the system can be maintained via a database. Current content can be added over the entire duration of the exhibition, so that the knowledge pool is constantly updated. Even visitors' opinions enrich the digital tour. And all at no extra charge!"
