Does interactive media always have to be digital?
Not necessarily. You can also let visitors get up close and personal and invite them to interact in a way that goes far beyond the digital space. One such project, which is currently being realised, will be presented to the public at Kriebstein Castle in Saxony in spring 2022.

Here, the mediation follows the mechanisms of an exit game: equipped with a mobile device, visitors start their tour into the site's past. With the help of digital augmented reality clues and analogue hands-on elements, they puzzle their way through the castle complex and are literally drawn into the history of the place.

The monumental castle has been perched on a rock in Central Saxony for more than 600 years. Inside, you can marvel at late Gothic murals and parts of the treasure that was hidden in the chimney until 1986.
