Konrad Adenauer died in his home in Rhöndorf in 1967. His daughters have made it possible for the house to be preserved as a memorial, where Adenauer's life and work can be experienced in a permanent exhibition. This is maintained by a foundation, which also archives the estate and makes it accessible to interested parties.
