Herford Municipal Museum

Villa Schönfeld, part of the museum, was officially opened in August 2013. During the tour, our xpedeo media guide gives the public an insight into the villa's past and the lives of its former inhabitants.

You will also learn details about restoration techniques. Visitors can meet painter Götz Keitel, who demonstrates how a door can be glazed using strong beer, colour pigments and various brushes.
