Accessibility
There is a tactile trail through the exhibition for visitors with visual impairments. This guides visitors to tactile information panels. There, our MediaGuide then supports the tour with sophisticated technology: when the MediaGuide is placed on the board, the audio contributions are automatically started using NFC technology
But it's not just accessibility that is perfectly supported by our MediaGuide. The numerous text panels in the exhibition, which are only available in German, are translated for foreign-language visitors. Visitors can decide whether they want to read the texts themselves in their own language or have them read aloud using text-to-speech technology.
The second large permanent exhibition in the same building is entitled "Wildnis(t)räume". This is thematically dedicated to the neighbouring Eifel National Park. We also produced the MediaGuides for this customer, you can find more details here!
The former Nazi Ordensburg Vogelsang is considered one of the largest architectural legacies of National Socialism in Germany and was one of three institutions for training political leaders of the NSDAP. After the Second World War, it was first a British and then a Belgian military training area.
Today, this historic site is undergoing a transformation and, as Internationaler Platz Vogelsang IP, houses an exhibition and education centre, which opened in September 2016 in the heart of the Eifel National Park.

After 4 ½ years of construction, the historic central building of the listed Vogelsang site has been transformed into a modern, 12,500 m² visitor and exhibition centre.
Among other things, it now houses the permanent exhibition of the Vogelsang National Socialist Documentation Centre. It is entitled "Destination: Herrenmensch NS-Ordensburgen zwischen Faszination und Verbrechen" (Destination: Herrenmensch NS-Ordensburgen zwischen Faszination und Verbrechen) and presents the historical site of Vogelsang from various perspectives.
